we offer in-home, in-clinic, and in community services.
If someone is new to ABA therapy, what are the most important things you want them to understand about what it is and how it can help children?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the scientific study of human behavior. It is important to note that ABA can target and help any living being. ABA makes the greatest impact for the client when everyone in their environment is able to participate and understand the techniques being utilized. The more support the child receives from the family, the more progress will typically be seen at quicker rates than if the child was the only one receiving the therapy. Due to this, we also provide parent training on a weekly to monthly schedule (however it fits best for the parent's schedule) to ensure the greatest progress is seen.
Once a family decides they're interested, what's the typical process they go through to get started with therapy at Kaleidoscope?
